"I need coaches to coach me. I'll mobilize all my personal connections"...Niemura, the general manager of the 2nd Army, who has done everything except 'battery', why did you choose Doosan

The Doosan Bears is set to make a major breakthrough in the Futures League. The remarkable change is starting with Japan's veteran leader, Tooru Nimura, as the general coach for the second division. With experience in coaching all fields except battery parts, Tooru plans to serve as a mentor for coaches.

Doosan officially announced the position of the coach for the 2025 season on the 14th.

First of all, there has been a major change in the first division led by Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop. As already announced, Koji Goto will take over as the head coach, while Cho Seong-hwan will take over the newly established QC coaching role, which will serve as a bridge between the coaches and the team. Park Seok-min, the batting coach for the first division, will be the batting coach for the new team, and Lim Jae-hyun, the operation coach for the third base. 먹튀검증

The team completely reversed virtually every framework. Last year, Doosan decided not to renew contract with most of its coaches for the Futures team, including former coach Junghoon Lee. Since the mid-2000s, Doosan had reached its peak in the 2010s through its unique fire-watering baseball, but for a long time since then, the team had no choice but to seek major changes amid the sluggishness in fostering fielders.

Doosan wanted to change the face of the Futures team's overall coaching staff to younger leaders. And Yoon Hyuk, who previously headed the scout team, has changed his position to the second-tier team leader in charge of Icheon Bears Park. Under such an attempt to change the training system itself, concerns remained over the position of the Futures team's coach.

Kim Tae-ryong, Doosan`s "Japan expert," made efforts in person. As a result, Doosan recruited Niemura, a general coach, and Kazuyoshi Ono. Niemura is a veteran coach born in 1961. He served as the primary team head coach and the secondary team head coach at the Japanese professional baseball league (NBP) including the Chunichi Dragons and the Rakuten Golden Eagles, and coached all parts of the team except for hitting, pitching, defense, and basemen.

A Doosan official said, "We mobilized all of our connections in the Japanese baseball field to bring together two Japanese leaders. In case of Niemura, we expect him not only to guide the team but also to mentor young coaches. The age of coaches for the Futures team has declined, but we needed a leader to take over the coaching role of coaches."

Coach Nimura is known to be such a big man that a key official of another club was surprised, "How did you recruit him?"

Ono Futures' pitching coach is a former pitcher who has won 82 games in the first division of the Japanese professional baseball, and has been a leader since 1998 and served as a first-team pitching coach for the Kintetsu Buffaloes, Rakuten Golden Eagles, and Seibu Lions.

Meanwhile, the Doosan Futures team is led by Ono and Ga Deuk-yum, batting coach Lee Do-hyung and Cho Jung-geun, defensive coach Seo Ye-il, operation and base coach Kim Jae-hyun, battery coach Kim Jin-soo, and training coach Lee Deok-hyun, Kwak Sung-wook and Kwon Bum-joon.

For nine years from 2016 to last year, Cho was well received as a batting coach by the police baseball team and KT Wiz. When he was active, Kim Jae-hyun was recognized for his ability to steal bases and run. Coach Seo Ye-il proved his sincere attitude and passion for baseball for nine seasons with the Doosan Bears until last year.

The Doosan Futures team plans to move to Miyakojima Island in Okinawa, Japan, in February under the leadership of General Coach Nimura to carry out the Futures team's spring camp schedule.
